Vanuatu

Life is more fun when you have people to share it with. A 30+yr friendship brings us to Vanuatu for birthday celebrations and I can say Vanuatu did not disappoint. We were so lucky to have our friends show us around, being local meant we were invited to the deepest and more secretive parts the Island had to offer. Private land and beaches that only the locals could ever allow locals to pass through. The Point Villa Beach Front Apartments was the perfect accomodation and right on the beach, only metres away from the Beach bar which hosts an amazing fire show

Vanuatu is a South Pacific Ocean nation made up of roughly 80 islands that stretch 1,300 kilometers. The islands offer scuba diving at coral reefs, underwater caverns and wrecks such as the WWII-era troopship SS President Coolidge. Harborside Port Vila, the nation’s capital and economic center, is on the island of Efate. The city is home to the Vanuatu National Museum, which explores the nation’s Melanesian culture.
