Fiordland National Park

Words can hardly describe the immense natural forms, colors, and smells that make up much of the landscape of Southland. I have lived in the South Island of New Zealand my whole life, and I have only ventured into my backyard recently. I guess with age, I am more open to the invitation our beautiful country has to offer. Travelling through these beautiful places with family, exploring these hidden gems together for the first time really does present the beauty in family and discovering together, creating memories.

Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for towering Mitre Peak, plus rainforests and waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins.
